Sales Testimonies Internship UK

customer relationship internship«My training period at Studios92 in London was my most beautiful work experience.
I am currently studying a Master of Trilingual International Management, I had to do a training period in a company abroad to validate my year. This training period being an integral part of my program, I decided to go to the United Kingdom during the summer to practise my English abroad and more particularly in London to have a work experience within a british compagny.

Having completed the on-line application, I was contacted by the person in charge of the Human Resources department and I had my first interview successfully. Having a work experience in the sales department of Ltd was very instructive, it brought me the communication skills that I needed and I was able to put into practice my theoretical notions with other trainees in London.

To give you a best idea of a typical day of a training period at Ltd in London, I am going to describe you the best possible the various missions and tasks of the trainees in the Sales department. First, the customers have the possibility to book a hotel, a hostel, a guesthouse or to rent an apartment, a studio and a flat-share in London. The booking can, indeed, be made by telephone, directly on-line on the web site of Studios92, by e-mail or by fax. Our responsibility is to find the best suitable accommodation which will satisfy the needs of the customer. We call our partners by looking in the computer system of the company and when the availability and the prices are checked we have to close the sale where both parts will be winning: that is to say Studios92 and the customer, we call it a "win-win situation".

When we do a booking for one of our partners, we have to proceed to the payment of the commission planned for the returned service. Once this stage made, we send a confirmation e-mail to the customer where he will find all the information that he needs for his stay in the hotel. During every contacting, we use sales techniques to do prospecting and negotiation, it is the opportunity to satisfy the customers and to get more customers day after day. To conclude, I would say that this training period in London was the ideal training job, finally I feel ready to enter the job market in the sector of international trade. Thanks to my diploma and this professional experience on my CV, I am convinced to be able to find the job of my dreams. »

A Great Opportunity to Apply Myself

customer relationship internship Hi everybody!

I am Nina and I study International Marketing at the Europa Fachakademie in Hanover, Germany As part of my studies I had to do an internship. Due to the reasons that I like to travel and to see other countries I chose an internship in England.

I found internship-uk in the internet by accident. After a closer look at the company and the many positive testimonials I decided to apply. Although the application process took a while after a written application and two interviews I finally got accepted.

The 4 months internship in New Romney provided me with a lot of knowledge in various areas.

Even though I am currently studying International Marketing I immediately said yes when I was asked to work for the Customer Relationship Department. For me it was a great chance to improve my English and abandon my nervousness on the phone by speaking with customers every day. The CRM department is the best department to improve your language as fast as possible because the dealing with English and foreign customers obliges you to quickly adapt to the language in order to understand the customer wishes and to react with the highest flexibility. Due to many workshops in communication I now achieved a good level of Sales English in oral and written form and I am also able to deal with difficult customers.

In the workshops I also learnt a lot about marketing and business.

The other aspect I really liked was the opportunity to work together with people from various countries. Doing a former school year in an international school I enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting people from different areas of the world. During my internship I made true friend with people I will definitely stay in touch with also after the end of my internship.

New Romney is a small town but our Event Department always organized some great trips so we never got bored. Be it trips to London, Stonehenge, Windsor or having fun while riding the rollercoasters in Thorn Park or dancing in a club. There is always something to do here.

I had an amazing time here and I thank everybody who made my internship so enjoyable.

To work as an intern in Customer Relationship Management

customer relationship internship« Hello everybody! I am Nicolas and I am going to explain you how the second step takes place when we make a booking for one of our flat-shares in London by means of Studios92. This second stage of the sales is divided in two parts:

First, once the telephone order made, we send a confirmation email to the customer to allow him to have an official proof of the booking with a reservation number and the deposit which he will have to pay for the flat-share. This confirmation email is followed by three other emails informing the customer of the various payment methods during his stay, but also of the way to go to our offices to do the "check-in" and finally the fourth email will be sent to the customer 7 days before his arrival to tell him that everything is ready for him to stay in the flat-share in London.

Second is the arrival date of the customer in London. As a rule, we explain to the customer in the letter of information the way to go to the closest underground station to our office. However, we ask the customer to join us by telephone when he arrives in London to indicate him how to go to the underground station. When the customer is arrived, he calls us and we pick him up personally. It is the first visual contact with the customer. On our way to Manor House station and then back to the office of Studios92 we create a first friendly contact with the customer, asking him about his journey and by answering his questions about the life in London.

Finally the customer arrives in our office and we proceed to the "check-in" which consists in explaining to the customer the house regulations and what he must know about our flat-shares in London.
Bitter "check-in", we bring the customer to the flat. Once arrived, we explain to the customer one last time the rules to live in community in the flat-share so that all the tenants can live in harmony in a healthy environment and share a good experience. Finally, we give the keys to the customer by saying him not to hesitate to contact us if he has any questions concerning the flat-share or the life in London. »

To gain practical work experience in CRM wth Internship UK

customer relationship management As a recent graduate from South Africa, I felt I lacked practical experience in my field of studies. For quite a few months I had been working in a job and just felt it wasn't challenging me enough, so I began to ask myself the question, what can I do to change this? I went online and did some research, and was immediately attracted to the internship UK programme.

My friends and family had suggested to me about doing an internship as it is both enjoyable and academically rewarding plus it looks really good on your CV/resume. When I went onto the website I was overwhelmed by the testimonials which were filled with so much positive energy, friendly and lively people that it was just so hard not to apply.

My interview was done in New Romney, I arrived at Ashford International and then took the old blue bus which I think was number 11 or 711 through some special looking villages and old Romney. Some of the thoughts that were running through my mind as we were driving on that old narrow road which was next some what of a stream was “Where the hell am I?”. But as the bus reached New Romney a feeling of warmth struck me, an attractive ancient village with many old buildings, a sleeping gem... full of charm. Avril conducted my first interview and she made me feel right at home after some grueling intimidation, the second interview was with Dino.

My goals during my internship are to expand my skills in all aspects ideally marketing and sales. Other areas I look to improve in is communications. Seeing all the different cultures I think is going to be really fascinating to me.

I cant wait to see what the future - studios92 as to offer me.

To work as an intern in Customer Relationship Management

After a year of studies in the lovely country Italy I had three days to spend with my friends and family in my home country Sweden before the next challenge was about to start in London. In the past I had only spent one weekend partying in London and that was about it. I still had my prejudiced thoughts about the english looks, the language and the manners. The only thing I was prepared for, was the weather and for that I took my best raincoat that I've had in all my expeditions around the countries I've been visiting in the past. I had a lot of expectations about the internship I was about to attend and that I would be surounded by young and talanted people from all over the world, with totally different working backgrounds and cultures.

When I knocked on the door to the office in London that was exactly what I came to. There were a brazilian girl (Leila) opening the door, Italian girl (Olympia) wanted to bring me something to drink, three swedish guys just looking at me with a smile and just started the first conversation as if I had worked there for three years. The biggest interest of mine on this internship is to se and learn how the management works and how people can be engaged to reach the same goals even though they are from all over the world. As soon as I went in through the office door I felt that I had a lot to give and a lot to learn about management.

My first free day from work, I took a sightseeingtour around London by walk, I walked from Liverpoolstreet and down to towerbridge and then along River Themes to the London Eye and that took a whole day, from then I realized how big this city is and offcourse that I loved it. This is the city of my dreams and my future. I love the atmosphere here and the multicultural freedom and that everything is really well organized although there live more than 12 million people in the city, on that tourists around the whole world visiting.

It is an easy city to adapt to, for improving my english language, this is the best choise I've done in my life. The english you speak here in London is the real deal. I live with english people and that makes me use the english language every second and every day, and my central living (Kings Cross) makes it easy to reach the cityheart in no time. My prejudices about the english people weren't correct at all, I think now after living with some and talked with random english people, they are great and I love them! Although the living standards aren't as good as in Sweden, but everything else a swede would need, can be find easily. Or atleast there are three Ikea warehouses around the city, so what more do we need?

The local transport system works very well which I already thought it would, and it only takes me 15 minutes to get to our London office from home. The atmosphere in the office is amazing and the people who work here are handpicked, and it is very talanted and openminded people around me every morning I come to work. There are so much to learn every day that I feel like I'm in school, but more funny and more realistic.
This phenomenon is not possible to read in a book or hear on lectures at school. This phenomenon is only experienced and I am experiencing it right now.

A diversify work with this internship in Customer Relationship Management

customer relationship internship The three months of internship that I spent in New Romney at Studios92 were one of the most interesting and useful months in my life.
Before arriving here I did not have lots of expectations. As every student I expected to meet new people, explore new cultures, have fun, improve my English. But my experience really exceeded my expectations as I learnt lots of new things and met many interesting people from different countries.
I remember the first day when I arrived. I was a bit stressed as I did not know what I had to expect. But everybody was really friendly, they showed me the house, the office, organised the welcome party and soon I started feeling like at home. I felt like living in a family with people who are always ready to help you. We spent lots of time together in parties, barbecues, trips to various towns and simply talking and enjoying the time.

From the job perspective, I learnt lots of new and useful things. I was working in CRM department all the time and I was never bored with it. Of course, in the beginning it was not easy. I did not know lots of things: how to do, what to do. But there were always people whom I could ask and they were always ready to help me and give advice. I did lots of things from dealing with clients on phone to looking for new partners. I was making reservations on phone, writing emails, creating and designing promotions and dealing with clients in order to create long term relationships and fulfil their needs.

I was also working with our partners to create loyalty, long term satisfaction and keep strong business relations. What I really liked was that we were given lots of responsibilities, we were allowed to take important decisions and always move forward. As a result, I always felt motivated, satisfied and confident. Moreover, as I was interested in marketing, I was also working with marketing people and created web page about internship in my language, did guerilla marketing , designed promotions and did lots of other interesting marketing things. In addition to this, I got trainings on effective and successful communication, management, selling. We always worked in a team and had opportunities to share our experience, knowledge, learn from each other, teach each other and use our strengths to achieve the best performance.

I had a wonderful personal and job experience and I will never regret that I made the decision to take internship in Studios92. It was a great challenge , wonderful time and a very fulfilling way to spend my summer holidays. I will treasure the memories which we spent together forever.

Having a fresh start and a new outlook with a sales internship

Customer Relationship Management Internships
Leaving home to pursue an internship in the UK has been one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever made. I had second thoughts until I arrived in New Romney, where I was welcomed into the house which I now call home. Naturally,  I was homesick but interacting with my peers from all corners of the globe made up for it as I began to make friends. I really appreciate the environment in which I work because I am able to contribute my ideas to my superiors without limitations. I hope to return to South Africa with the work ethic, skills and positive mental attitude instilled in me by this internship programme..

An Internship to Learn both Professionally and Personally.

My choice for an internship in London had always as main objectives to improve my level of English and acquire new methodologies and knowledge in the area of marketing. As such, this internship was very gratifying, I found a company with a multi-cultural team, with different approaches in the area of marketing and technology that allow me to develop new knowledges very important for my future career.

The discipline, flexibility, responsibility and team spirit were characteristics that I learned to develop throughout my marketing internship in London. Also, working on a new market, very competitive and sophisticated, especially in the area that I was acting able me to improve my skills in marketing and communications skills. In turn, the need to solve daily problems with immediate and right solutions made me a more pragmatic and focused on the information that is really useful.

Moreover, the friendly and dynamic working environment with people from around the world had made my internship in London a really good personal experience. The contact with different cultures helped me to learn more about me, my limitations, defects and qualities always different from person to person. This experience in London was as a learning daily. In fact I had to divide my apartment in London with people of other nationalities, with different personalities, different habits and routines as was a real test for me, I could learned to be more tolerant and patient in my personal relationships with my colleagues.

Another important point was that my stay in London has become a big advantage for me, I am an active and curious person who loves travel, since living in London is like being at the centre of europe, the trips are so cheap that my weekends was always busy and fun.

This internship in London also allowed me to have some time to know a little better the city. Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Soho, Camden Town, among many other places and areas of interest that makes London a real European capital.

Of course, not everything was easy for those by foreign adventure. The language difficulties and, of course, the miss from home were many. However, it was an enriching experience, where I learned a lot, I was able to consolidate my knowledge and put them into practice, a better overview of the world of work, the broad objectives of the company, I developed my sense of responsibility and realised the demands of the labour market. It was a very positive experience, interesting and revealing, exceeded all my expectations. All my fears and apprehensions that had regarding this internship in London quickly disappeared, because my adaptation to the environment was swift, which in some ways was due to friendly environment in which the company operates.

I thank all the people who made this internship in London an experience to remember for all my life!

Rewarding Responsabilities During my Internship in Sales

This internship met my expectations in sales, I was assigned a lot of real responsibilities, which is not the case in some other internships. This internship offers a great experience in sales as I was dealing with customers and partners everyday with different means of communication (e-mail, phone and face-to-face). The communication with customer on the phone was very educating, especially for sales communication and English comprehension. This internship exceeded my expectations because I had the opportunity to work in two different offices (New Romney and London). I have had two different experiences of work and responsibilities. I learned a lot about the accommodation sector and flat-share properties, which was very interesting because I had never worked in this sector before. The face-to-face appointments with customers were also very educating and interesting because I learned how to deal with complaints and problems with for example, payment which are an important part of the work in the Sales department of every company.

Marketing and Sun During my Internship

During my internship at Ltd I was not only involved in a lot of projects, I also had real responsibilities. Above all I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere I found there. The staff was young and dynamic and we had good times together: we went to the clubs, had lots of parties and enjoyed many of the famous events in London!

Marion, 23, Marseille. Internship in Sales, London, UK.

A multi-national atmosphere, where the experience was priceless!!

I found myself asking what I could do with my Summer that would be both enjoyable and academically rewarding. Many universities in France, Germany and Holland require an internship, and although it is not required in England, it is very much a regular occurrence for young individuals. I decided therefore that a work placement would be an excellent opportunity, and when Internship UK accepted me, I jumped at the chance.

I took this internship for 3 reasons. Firstly as a way to expand my skills in both a nurturing and professional environment. Secondly, for the interaction with foreign students in both a personal and professional atmosphere, and thirdly to test the waters' and see if I liked the challenges of the work.

Nowadays, an internship is essential to climbing to the top of your career ladder. notes how 'employers are coming to expect to see them listed on the resumes of potential employees,' so, the placement for me was not a required option to pass my degree, instead it was a personal choice to work in a professional environment with the hope that it would further my career prospects.

I spent many months researching which career path I wanted to take, and from part-time work in the sales environment within both Orange and T Mobile, I thought that a professional CRM (customer relationship management) career would be an ideal choice. However, I was worried that my background degree in International Relations would negate applications against those from a business based degree. I was also unsure about whether CRM was suited to my needs.

I was pleased that from the minute I entered the role I was given individual targets and I received both the professional and personal support that I needed. The staff made the transition easy, and although I was thrown in at the deep end, they were always willing to offer aid and answer my questions. It seemed that help was always at hand within Internship UK.

There were over 10 different nationalities in the office, and I can now say with confidence, that I can effectively work with people from different backgrounds and cultures. In the competitive multi-national environment the overall experience was priceless. Furthermore, I have made long-term friends from over 10 nationalities.

The placement was unlike several others, as I wasn't lost in a large corporate system. With my placement, I was regularly in contact with the leaders, which helped me to learn and gain invaluable experience. I spent time with them over dinner meetings and company events. For me, Internship UK was the opportunity I required, as I was quickly offered one-on-one management training, and given vital tools that I could carry in my next job. I know that had I chosen to work within a large firm, these opportunities would have been hard to find.

This internship has narrowed down my career options quite considerably. I was previously uncertain about my career paths, but I have found a new passion in working with people from different backgrounds. Work was always interesting, and challenging, but equally rewarding, and I know that I want to work for a global firm in the future. I fully believe that practical learning is the best option for gaining the relevant skills. I would therefore strongly recommend to all students to try a work placement for expanding both your personal and professional skills. The ability to excel is down to your personal drive and not on a measured scale. If you have a positive mentality to deal with new challenges on a daily basis, coupled with a goal to succeed in a team environment, then an internship is for you.

Great work experience!!!

customer relationship internship After my degree in Management of Projects at a French University, and before starting Business School, I decided to go to England !

I have arrived for just 1 month in company and I have already taken advantage from this rewarding experience. It's the first time that I was tempted into having a foreign adventure and I'm not disappointed!

I'm working in a Postive Mental Attitude environment, which means my co-workers and I have a great team. I receive new responsibilities quickly, and have great productivity in my projects. Moreover, I occupy a very dynamic post in the CRM Departments. Every day is a new challenge, it's very motivating.

Concerning my English level, I'm improving faster than I thought I would. Thanks to always being in an English environment, you can adapt naturally to the new situation. I am winning an asset for my future career : the English language.

Moreover on the professional aspect, I learned a lot from all the diverse people that I met here: Germans, Italians, Polish, Americans, the Dutch, and more...! All the cultures are mixed and everyone brings their own particular touch for a unique and exotic result.

It's an experience that I recommend to people who want to go abroad : professionally and personally enrichment guaranteed !

Real life experience!!!

Hello, I'm Wendy and I'm a Dutch student following the course Management, Economics and Law at the Avans University for applied sciences. My school requires me to do a six month internship to gain some work experience. I choose to do my internship abroad because I would like to improve my English skills and I thought it would be a great adventure to be on my own for such a long period.

After searching on the internet, I found Internship-UK and decided to fill in the application form. I completed my interviews successfully. Now I have been working for Studios92 for a few months and already learned so much. To be honest, I learned more in a few months at Studios92 than in 3 years of school!

This is because you will get lots of responsibilities and will experience how to deal with different situations ans customers, which you will not learn at school. I'm working on the CRM/Sales department and my main tasks are to make sure customers find a suitable accommodation and are satisfied. Besides that I have lots of other tasks and responsibilities concerning management.

The opportunity was given to me to manage the London office which is a great chance for me to develop my management skills. I learned a lot about management at school but after I finish my internship, I will know a lot more about management than before! I trained new people and managed to build a great team of staff which are all very motivated and hard-working. It's a pleasure to work with such nice people because there is always a positive mental attitude which makes work so pleasant.

I will never regret the decision I have made to do my internship in London, as London is a lovely city! After work we have lots of fun in the centre of London and of course I viewed all the tourist attractions that London has to offer.

The internship has been a great experience for me, which I will never forget!

Real life experience!!!

Hi everybody!

My name is Merel and I am studying Management, Economics and Law in 's-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands). My University requires all students to do an internship for five months in their third year. In my opinion doing an internship abroad is one of the greatest challenges for students. Especially with this internship program, Internship-UK, you will gain a lot of experience which is really not comparable to what other companies can offer you.

I am doing Customer Relationship Management/Sales as my main task and I have to say that I it's never boring to work in this department. CRM/Sales in London means that you are responsible for building relationships with customers and with partners as well. In fact you are their contact person who has to bring everything to a good end. This makes communication in all fields crucial which is an excellent way to improve your communication skills. This internship is not like a dull nine till five job, every day is a new exciting day for me. Next to your main tasks you will also handle a lot of other responsibilities and it's up to you to deal with these responsibilities by yourself! I am sure everything I have experienced during this internship upgraded my professional and my social life as well!

It's amazing that everybody is so positive around here, the people working for this company are always willing to help you out and I think that is one of the main reasons why there is always a great atmosphere in the office. This fantastic opportunity to meet people from all over the world has made my internship in London unforgettable.

This experience is one of the biggest challenges I had in my life, and I am really sure that I have grown a lot since I have been here. It's a great adventure for everyone who has a positive attitude, potential and who is willing to move forward in life. So I would say if you dare to take this challenge than apply for this internship!

Internship UK- great chance for working experience abroad

My name is Marta. I have just graduated from the Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice, Poland. My university gave me great opportunity to take part in Leonardo da Vinci program for graduates. Because I have always wanted to gain experience working in a company abroad, soon I found myself filling in the application form on which was recommended to me by my colleague who had already taken an internship at Studios92 and gave it enthusiastic reviews. Then I went through two interviews successfully and finally, full of optimism left to New Romney.

I’ve been here for three weeks now and have 6 more months to go. I have to say that even though I was very positive about taking part in this internship before I arrived, the stay here has overcome my expectations, both on a professional and personal level.

I found myself working with a team of great, young, intelligent people from all over the world who are a great source of inspiration and knowledge. It makes me want to learn more every day. My internship program includes working in Customer Relationship Management and Marketing departments. Currently I focus on CRM and my duties include contacting partners and clients, using data base to find the best solutions for clients and finalizing sales. After three weeks I already reckon improvement in my communication skills and higher self-confidence during conversations with partners and clients.

Our after-work life is as busy as in the office. Each day is different and our event planner surprises me all the time with new ideas of excursions, thematic parties, games and movie nights, sports events and many other activities. I also really like the idea living together with other interns, because I was always passionate about getting to know people from different cultural backgrounds. I can definitely say that I am having one of the best times of my life.

My internship in Studios92 is a really great experience, I encourage you to apply to Internship-UK!

Listen means forget, see means remember but experience means understand.Take a chance... do an internship!

After graduation at The University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, The Fulty of Commerce, Department of Tourism and Services I decided to go abroad, improve my English, to obtain some valuable experience for my future career, travel and meet new people from different countries and cultures and I was lucky when I found Internship-UK.

I have gotten a great oppurtunity to work for Studios92 Ltd. in The Customer Relationship Management department. Studios92 is a central reservation for booking accommodation and related services in different countries. Answering the phones and e-mails and dealing with customer and partners taught me valuable communications skills as I learned when to be kind, when to be assertive, and how to deal with people who were difficult, angry or sometimes just confused. After few months I was responsible not only for my own tasks but also for new interns. I had to help them integrate, assigned tasks and supervised them, which taught me management skills. These skills are something that are necessary for your whole life that you can not learned in school. I will be never be thankful enough for this opportunity which has been given to me.

On the top of the work experience, the atmosphere in the company is great. Everyone in the company has made me feel welcome, and helped me get the most out of my experience by having great memories during our spare time together. I made a lot of new friends from all over the world. To meet and work with people from different countries and cultures is a priceless experience which not only opens doors to a future career but also opens your mind and allows yoe to grow professionally and personally.
