Event Management Internship
A major aspect to the success of any event is to understand how to market and communicate that event to all relevant parties involved.
At Internship-UK, the role of our event manager position is to coordinate and plan the logistical and technical sides of events.
As an event manager you will be working with our interns and staff member to establish internal company events and occasions, to satisfy the wants and desires of our colleagues. On the whole, the main focus of our event management position is predominately internal. A project management degree is helpful.
Given the nature of this department, placements in event management are very limited.
For this aspect of events management it will be your responsibility to promote a community atmosphere and manage the work-life balance issues of your colleagues. The aim of our events department is to promote as many activities for our staff throughout the year.
Our event managers are in charge of organising social gatherings, club nights out, pub sessions, dinner parties, movie nights and sightseeing trips.
It is important to note that all of these events involve a lot of itinerary, financial planning as well as staff management. Ultimately, the aim of our event management department is to promote activities for our staff and develop a strong community feel for our staff.
